Located at 1858 W. Grand Avenue in the ground floor storefront , Space 1858 is a multi purpose event space ideal for cocktail parties, intimate concerts, dance events, yoga classes or corporate retreats.
Housed in the same building occupied by Nicholas Design Collaborative, owned and operated by the ownership of NDC, the beauty of the space was discovered through the removal of many layers of unfortunate walls and ceiling that masked the true nature of the space.
The original ceiling framing of the building was repaired and left exposed and new white oak floor was added. The existing iron storefront, buried beneath brick was restored and a glass and aluminum storefront system was added to open the space to the street and mechanical, lighting and sound systems were also added to support the use of the space.
